Sherando High School

  • Sherando hosted the Marching Royal Dukes of James Madison University on Sept. 9th.  They performed an exhibition show, then a side by side performance with other District 14 high school band members, along with SHS

Millbrook High School

  • Navy Class
    • 2nd place out of 4 bands (VBODA score of 72.03)
    • “Best Music”, Navy Class
    • “Best Percussion”, Navy Class
  • 3rd place overall out of 11 bands competing.

Blast in the Draft Marching Competition
Stuarts Draft High School

  • Class 4A (Blast score of 85.0)
    • 2nd place out of 4 bands
    • “Best General Effect”, Class 4A

JMU Jazz Ensemble
Sherando High School

  • Oct. 18th, 2016
  • Sherando hosted the Jazz Ensemble, the premiere jazz group from James Madison University.  They performed several pieces for our students in an informal concert, and also worked with our students in several small masterclass sessions.
