Band Camp starts on July 31, 2023 at 7:15am. We are getting things ready. This page will be updated over the next few months with necessary information as we get closer to Camp. For now, take a look through this page to see the latest updates and the upcoming summer fundraising opportunities.
Uniform Fittings – July 24-27 – 6:00pm – 8:30pm
Catherine Dodrill and our awesome uniform team will be fitting your student(s) this summer for their parade attire. We love to plan ahead, and that’s why we are getting this information out now before school ends. The goal is to fit your student for parade attire, jacket, bibbers, shakos and shoes, July 24-27 in the evenings from 6-8:30pm. If the marching season uniforms, show shirt and bibbers, are in we will do a quick fitting confirming if alterations are needed. If you are out of town or unable to attend during these days/times I will get your student during band camp 07/31-08/11 (M-F 7:15am-5pm), but it is super helpful to come in during July 24-27.
BAND FAMILIES!! We need your help to stock the band for our summer Band Camp (July 31 – August 11) and the Fall 2023 Marching Band Season. Please click the Sign Up Genius button below to see how you can help.
Donations can be dropped off at the school in the band room during any of our summer events.
The supplies will go to supporting Band Camp needs, the parent preview and pot luck night, cleaning of our areas, buses for competition travel, and other general needs to keep 150+ students in our band going.
Pre-Band Camp Fundraising Opportunities
Summer Car Washes – June 17 and July 22 – 11:45am – 3:00pm
Students and parents, come help wash cars at Bank of Clarke in Stephens City, raising funds for the band! Car washing supplies will be provided. Please dress appropriately and have sun protection! Bring your own snacks and drinks to stay fueled up to wash cars! Appropriate Dress REQUIRED, bathing suits can be worn BUT shirt and shorts MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES (ladies bathing suits under shirt and shorts and gentlemen swim shorts can be worn with a shirt)! Shorts and shirts required!
